Been writin' this piece called “Life changing events”.
Bout what fate allows and what it prevents.
I was doin' ok until paragraph three, then I yawned and it dawned, it just wasn't me.
Far too long winded, the cardinal sin, I ripped it right up and it went in the bin.
I like a message, to be shorter and sweet, it don't need to rhyme but it must have a beat.
Here I am now in my computer room, it no longer feels like a lectronic tomb.
Open a window, don't shut any doors, I like a poem when it ebbs and it flows.
I've cried about life, I've laughed and I've sworn.
Only one event matters, it's the day that your born
